    The terms used in this privacy statement and those defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have the meaning assigned to them in the AVG law. We only use the personal data for the purposes described in this privacy statement (basis). This is lawful and transparent. We formulate our privacy statement in plain and clear language and do not try to hide any information. We are also clear about what data we process and how we do it. That is specific and clear. We only process the personal data that we really need. That is data minimization. We are happy to work with you to ensure that the data we process is always correct and up-to-date. That is the accuracy of the data. We do not store the data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. That is the retention period. We never share the personal data with other parties, inside or outside the EU, without a valid reason. We also ensure proper security of personal data by taking many technical and organizational measures. When we share your personal data with third parties, we will explicitly indicate this. Women's Choir Sonata only shares your personal data with third parties with your permission, if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement or to comply with any legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with parties that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.Women's Choir Sonata remains responsible for these processing operations. Below you will find an overview of the personal data, purposes, principles and retention periods that we process per category. We also indicate per category with whom your data is shared.

 

Customer data

 

Personal data and purposes:

 

    Name and address details (first name, last name, address, postal code, place of residence, country) For the execution of the agreement, invoicing, identification, maintaining the customer relationship and carrying out direct marketing activities. Contact and additional personal data (email address, telephone number , gender) To communicate with each other, to address you correctly, to provide support, to inform you of changes in products/services, to carry out direct marketing activities. Payment details (bank account number, VAT number) To process your payment processing and for the VAT reverse charge if your company is located outside the Netherlands.

 

Basis (legal basis) for the processing: Necessary for the performance of the agreement (click here for more information). Carrying out direct marketing activities (we send you offers of similar products or services or tips about the purchased products or services) falls under “legitimate interest” ( click here for more information ).

 

Retention period: Up to one month after termination of the agreement (click here for more information). We keep your invoices for the legal retention period.

 

Who is your data shared with: Only the first and last name are shared with the organizers of performances.

 

Data from website visitors

 

Women's choir Sonata uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. For the Google Analytics cookies, this means that Women's Choir Sonata i) has concluded a processing agreement with Google, ii) masks the last octet of your IP address, iii) has switched off 'data sharing' so that Google does not use the personal data obtained for its own purposes (Google can only use it for technical support) and iv) does not use other Google services in combination with the Google unless otherwise stated in the section 'Marketing & tracking cookies'. Each web form has one clear purpose and if a form contains an extra purpose (for example, subscribing to the newsletter), we will ask for extra permission for this. By completing the form you give us permission to process the requested personal data. For this we mainly use name and address details, the telephone number and an e-mail address.

 

Basis (legal basis) for the processing: Consent given by filling in the form or ticking the box to give consent for an additional purpose (click here for more information). You can withdraw your consent by submitting this via the relevant web form or by sending an e-mail to info@vrouwenkoorsonata.nl.

 

Retention period: We store the data until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response. If the contact leads to an assignment, we will retain the data for no more than one month after the termination of the agreement (click here for more information). We keep your invoices for the legal retention period.

 

Who is your data shared with: With us and FijnGoedOnline.nl BV our online supplier. We have concluded a processing agreement with FijnGoedOnline.nl BV (click here for more information).

 

Newsletter (subscription form)

 

Personal data and purposes:

We will send you a maximum of 1 newsletter per quarter.

Who is your data shared with: With us and Mailchimp our newsletter supplier. We have concluded a processing agreement with Mailchimp (see https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy).

 

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

 

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at info@vrouwenkoorsonata.nl and we will delete this information.

 

Automated decision making

 

Women's Choir Sonata makes decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example, an employee of Sonata Women's Choir).


View, modify or delete data

 

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Women's Choir Sonata and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

 

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@vrouwenkoorsonata.nl. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.

 

We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. Women's Choir Sonata would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. If you have a complaint about how we or our sub-processors handle your personal data, we ask you to discuss this with us first, so that we can see if we can resolve or adjust this to your satisfaction. If we cannot get to that point, you can always submit a complaint to the supervisory authority.

 

How we secure personal data

 

Women's Choir Sonata takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes.
